Cearvol reached out to me for this trial because I had mentioned before that my old hearing aid would occasionally slip out when I was chewing. They told me Wave Lite had improvements in this area, so I was invited to be one of the first to try it. The fit is definitely more secure - it stays put even when I'm eating, which means can just wear it with confidence and I don't have to keep adjusting it all the time.
What impressed me most beyond the fit is the sound quality with the 40dB gain. I can hear the little details again - like the birds outside in the morning; and conversations sound clear and natural. Most importantly, the feedback suppression is excellent. Among OTC products I've tried, Wave Lite handles whistling the best. In fact, I hardly notice any feedback at all, which makes it much more comfortable to wear.
The app is well designed and easy to use, though I'll admit I'm too lazy to explore all the features. For anyone who likes to fine-tune their hearing, it's definitely convenient. Overall, Wave Lite has clearly upgraded the anti-slip design, and for the performance it delivers, I'd say it's worth the price.
"I've been using the Diamond X1 for a while, so I was invited to try out the new Wave Lite to see how it stacks up. Honestly, the sound quality has gotten a big upgrade - it's richer, more textured, and really pleasant to listen to. Voices are clear without being sharp, and the balance makes following conversations much easier without getting tired.
The design is another win. I love the color options, and it's super discreet - it doesn't look like a typical hearing aid, which makes me feel more confident when I'm out and about. The fit is way better than the X1 too; it stays put no matter what I'm doing during the day.
I tried both the Bluetooth and aux-in connections, and both worked really well. I prefer using the aux-in for the clearest sound when watching TV, and I'll stick with Bluetooth for streaming music or taking calls.
Overall, I really like this generation of Cearvol hearing aids. If you've used the Diamond X1 like me, I'd definitely recommend giving the Wave Lite a try. I'm planning to make it my main device and keep the Diamond X1 as a backup."
