By their definition, PSAPs are meant to amplify environmental sounds for “non-hearing-impaired” consumers.
How are Cearvol different from other hearing aids sold over the internet?

While the FDA has exempted most hearing aid devices from premarket approval or clearance, our hearing aids remain subject to requirements for manufacturer registration and device listing, as well as FDA regulations on standards for performance, manufacturing, labeling, and safety.
Most other options sold online are PSAPs or general amplifiers that make everything louder, not clearer. PSAPs are not hearing aids and don’t have to meet the same standards.Cearvol hearing aids are digital, Bluetooth-enabled OTC hearing aids that are not only sleek and stylish but also high quality devices that provide clear sound.

Adapting to your hearing aids will take some time. Top audiologists recommend 3 weeks in order for your brain to adapt to wearing hearing aids. The recommended schedule for getting used to your hearing aids is as follows:
Start by wearing your hearing aids for at least 1-2 hours per day while living your normal routine around the house in order to acclimate your ears to your hearing aids. It is normal to get irritated by the fit of your hearing aids during the first few weeks.
During the second week, start wearing your hearing aids outdoors. As your ears acclimate to the hearing aid, extend the use to 3-4 hours per day. At this point, you will start to notice little sounds you were unable to hear before.
By the end of the third week, you can start having regular outdoor conversations at any volume, whether you're at a crowded restaurant or at work. You are now acclimated to the hearing aids!

An app hearing test gives you a preliminary assessment of your current hearing ability. While it is not a replacement for a clinical evaluation conducted by a hearing professional such as an audiologist, it can still provide valuable insights. If you suspect you have hearing difficulties or your online check results indicate a potential issue, it's crucial to consult an audiologist or hearing care professional for a comprehensive evaluation and personalized recommendations.

KNOW MORE ABOUT HEARING LOSS & HEARING AIDS
How does hearing loss work?
The human ear is divided into three sections, namely the outer ear, middle ear and the inner ear. When we hear a sound, sound waves are sent through the outer, middle and inner ear up to the brain to be interpreted. We call this the hearing pathway. Any damage along this hearing pathway can prevent sound from being effectively transported to the brain, resulting in a loss of hearing.
What causes hearing loss?
A hearing loss can occur anywhere along the hearing pathway. There are many possible causes of hearing loss. Most hearing losses are associated with some damage to the hearing system or due to reduction in function as we age. However, everybody’s hearing loss is different and may have a different cause.
Is hearing loss permanent?
Some hearing losses are temporary, however, most hearing losses are associated with some damage to the hearing system or due to reduction in function as we age. These losses are not temporary. Everybody’s hearing loss is different and may have a different cause
How does hearing loss affect my overall health and well-being?
Hearing loss can have a huge effect on your overall health and well-being. There are even studies linking untreated hearing loss to unemployment and lower income. It’s important to take care of your hearing health to keep it in the best shape possible, just like you take care of the rest of your body. Hearing aids are proven to help you overcome the stress and frustration of hearing loss and enhance your overall quality of life.
How can I tell if I have hearing loss?
Signs of hearing loss may include: turning up the TV or radio higher than what others prefer, experiencing the perception that others mumble, asking people to repeat themselves often, and more. You might also find yourself leaning forward to hear a conversation or having trouble hearing in noisy situations, like in a crowded restaurant.
What if i'm ok with not doing anything about my hearing loss?
Hearing loss is not just about you hearing less. It's also about the impact it can have on your quality of life. Those experiencing hearing difficulties may also:
1.Skip out on social situations that they once enjoyed because of difficulty hearing.
2.Feel tired or stressed from straining to hear the conversation.
3.Feel annoyed or frustrated at others because they can’t understand them.
4.Feel embarrassed to meet new people or from misunderstanding what others are saying.
Ensuring good hearing health helps to promote the quality of life you deserve. If you ever feel some of these negative feelings are being provoked as a result of your hearing—or lack thereof—it’s perhaps a good time to contact Cearvol to learn more. We have a team of experts to help guide you on your journey. There are many things that stress us out in today’s world, but hearing loss doesn’t have to be one of them.
What is tinnitus? And what does it have to do with hearing loss?
Tinnitus is often described as a ringing, buzzing, or hissing in the ears. We don’t know the exact cause of tinnitus, but there is a high correlation between tinnitus and hearing loss. If you are experiencing ringing, buzzing, or hissing in your ears, we recommend you visit your doctor. Your doctor may suggest a hearing aid since hearing loss and tinnitus often go hand in hand. Although a hearing aid doesn’t mask the tinnitus, it may help you focus on what you want to hear. Check back with us if your doctor recommends a hearing aid, to see if an Cearvol hearing aid might be right for you.
Should I see my doctor for my hearing loss?
Although it’s not always necessary to see your doctor when you’re experiencing a hearing loss, there are some instances when you absolutely should. If you experience a sudden hearing loss, pain, balance issues, ear pressure, drainage, or other medical symptoms related to your ears, we recommend you visit your doctor. In addition, if your hearing loss is severe to profound, we encourage you to visit your doctor. Don’t forget to check back in with us if your doctor recommends a hearing aid to see if an Cearvol hearing aid might be right for you.
Will wearing hearing aids make my hearing loss better?
Hearing aids can improve your ability to hear and communicate, however, hearing aids won't be able to reverse your hearing loss or restore your hearing.
